These terms cover purchases of printed books through our online store and explain how training enquiries and bookings are handled.<\/span><\/p>

Please read these terms before placing an order or confirming a training booking.<\/span><\/p>

2. Which terms apply<\/span><\/h2>

Our online store sells stocked printed books to individuals and businesses. Training is arranged separately following an enquiry.<\/span><\/p>

Our Shipping Policy<\/strong> and Returns and Refund Policy<\/strong> form part of the terms for book purchases. Our Training Enquiry and Booking Policy<\/strong>, together with the quotation and terms supplied before booking, applies to training.<\/span><\/p>

Our Privacy Policy<\/strong> and Cookie Policy<\/strong> explain how personal information and website technologies are used.<\/span><\/p>

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.<\/span><\/p>

3. Training enquiries and bookings<\/span><\/h2>

Submitting an enquiry through our website does not confirm a booking or reserve a training place.<\/span><\/p>

We will contact you to discuss the course, availability, location, delegate requirements and price. The applicable quotation and booking terms will be provided before you commit.<\/span><\/p>

A booking becomes binding when you accept the quotation and booking terms and we confirm the booking by email.<\/span><\/p>

Please check all booking details, including company information, delegate names, dates and the training location, and tell us promptly about any errors or changes.<\/span><\/p>

Training payments<\/span><\/h3>

Unless otherwise agreed in writing before booking, training invoices must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date.<\/span><\/p>

Certificates will be issued after payment has been received and the relevant course and assessment requirements have been met. Payment or attendance alone does not guarantee successful assessment or certification.<\/span><\/p>

These invoice terms apply to training and do not apply to online book orders.<\/span><\/p>

Training cancellations and changes<\/span><\/h3>

Training cancellation charges, non-attendance arrangements and requests to reschedule are addressed in our Training Enquiry and Booking Policy and the terms supplied before booking.<\/span><\/p>

Those terms do not override applicable statutory cancellation rights or remedies where we fail to supply the agreed service.<\/span><\/p>

4. Book descriptions and suitability<\/span><\/h2>

Please check the title, edition, description and quantity before placing your order. Contact us if you need clarification about a book\u2019s contents or suitability.<\/span><\/p>

Books are learning and reference materials. Purchasing a book does not itself provide practical training, assessment, certification or authorisation to operate equipment.<\/span><\/p>

Materials should be used alongside appropriate training, equipment instructions and workplace procedures. This does not remove our responsibility to supply goods that meet their description and applicable legal standards.<\/span><\/p>

5. Placing and accepting an order<\/span><\/h2>

You are responsible for checking that your order, contact details and billing and delivery addresses are correct before submitting an order.<\/span><\/p>

An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not, by itself, mean that we have accepted it.<\/span><\/p>

A contract is formed when we send you an email expressly confirming acceptance of your order.<\/span><\/p>

If we cannot accept your order\u2014for example, because a book is unavailable or payment cannot be completed\u2014we will tell you promptly. Any payment already taken for an order we do not accept will be refunded without undue delay.<\/span><\/p>
